Beautiful DIY Jewelry Holder Frame
I was lucky enough to hang out with my good friend, Suzan, a couple weeks ago. We had a great time catching up and even spent some time working on a creative project. She moved into a new place not too long ago and we've worked together to help her come up with a plan for decorating it.One of the items we discussed was a way to display her jewelry. She has lots of beautiful jewelry and it's a shame to stuff it all away in the drawer. After some brainstorming and looking at photos, we decided to up-cycle some items into a DIY jewelry holder frame.Suzan took a few trips to the thrift store to pick up some old frames. It feels good to give things new life. We painted two of the frames above in a glossy white finish. The large one on the right will be turned into a bulletin board (but that's for another post). After removing the picture and any hooks from the back, we put 4 coats of white paint on each frame. Next, we added screw-in hooks to the top of the frame from where we could hang some choice pieces. We hung it on the wall and added some of her beautiful necklaces. We were both so happy with how it turned out!How do you display your jewelry? Do you have another creative way to do it? I'd love to hear it in the comments below.
