Ep 37: What is Clean Beauty and Why Should You Care with Jenny Brereton

Is minimalism or intentional living only limited to your home furnishings and clothes closets? Of course not!

The beauty of minimalism (and it’s not just a decorating style with stark white walls) is that it can spill into every area of your life if you allow it. Minimalism is living intentionally and being mindful of the things we let into our lives and homes and as today’s guest reminds us, what we put on our bodies.

I was thrilled to get to chat with Jenny Brereton about clean beauty on the latest episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show because she has such a passion for how to incorporate healthier products into our routines and what clean beauty can do for all of us.

She reminds us that the beauty industry has very little regulation and unlike a lot of the modern world, the USA has not banned many ingredients that are considered harmful in other countries. We need to be our own advocates and use our money to purchase healthier options for our families. The problem is that it can be difficult to know which products to buy. Thankfully this episode gives you a great place to start.

Jenny has always had a passion for her health, the environment, and caring for animals. She loves working with women in helping them feel beautiful and confident.

After learning about the dangers we put on our bodies through our beauty products, it became her mission to educate other women on recognizing the toxins in their products.

If you have ever considered being more intentional with the beauty products you buy or thought about clean beauty, this show is for you.

This episode of the Wannabe Minimalist Show will help you discover:

  • What clean beauty means?

  • 10 ingredients you should avoid when purchasing beauty products
